Case Description
I am a college student and need to get root on tooth #13 and #29, or somewhere around there. In either case, both of them are molars. My dentist suggested that I should get them done as soon as possible. I live in the suburbs, specifically Des Plaines, but I go to school in Champaign, IL. How much would it cost to do both root canals and where should I get them done? Around Des Plaines or in Champaign? Thanks for the help.

Cost Estimate: $995
Each tooth would run about $995. Fortunately, I can usually do each one in one visit. Be aware however that each tooth will need a crown as well which will run another $995 at our office. Too many times patients are not aware that they need the crown as well and are only informed after the appointment. I always like patients to know the whole story up front. You could have the root canals done now and then have the crowns done during winter break. We do process most insurances and also have interest free financing available. Cost Estimate: $700-1200
Our office is located in Des Plaines and we are happy to help with your dental treatment. Our office charges $883.00 for a molar root canal and $293.00 for the build-up which would also be necessary. Both of these procedures can be done in one visit. It is recommended that you have separate appointments for each tooth, however it is possible to complete both teeth in one long visit.
