Case Description
I have dental insurance that would cover 50% and would like to get a fixed bridge. Right now I have a partial but want to have an idea of what a fixed bridge would cost and how many vists it would take. Also would like to see about payments for the remainder not covered by insurance.

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Cost Estimate: $$4000-$6000
The cost depends on how many teeth we use to connect the bridge. You may need either a 4 or 6 unit bridge in this area. Typical costs are about $1000 per tooth. Your insurance will have a maximum on it , so you would need to check. We have a 24 month interest free financing option.Feel free to contact our office with further questionsDr. Salzberg

Hello, This is Dr. Huang. I''''ll be happy to provide you some information. The price of the bridge will depend on what type of bridge you decide to do. Usually, I recommend implant as treatment of choice for one or two missing teeth. Because in order to fabricate a bridge, we need to prep at least two ajacent teeth. Bridge is very cumbersome for patient to clean, while implant is like your own teeth and it helps preserve the bone. It''''s a good idea for you to have a comprehensive evaluation and see what is the best option for you. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.Zhaomin Huang, DMD MS

Cost Estimate: $Approximately 900 per tooth
Is it teeth # 8 & 9 you are replacing? If so, are the two teeth on each side of the space healthy? Do they aready have crowns or large fillings in them? On average it is around 900 per tooth to replace with a bridge. In terms of time, two appointments is average but at times it may take more if we feel the fit or aesthetics could be better. Its a big investment so it is more important to do things correctly with the greatest chance for long term success. We could certatinly review your situation and discuss options and costs in detail. We do have financing programs that will allow you to make payments that are comfortable for you. Please look at our website or call our office and we will promptly set up a convenient time to meet.ThanksJeffrey Milne DDS
