Patient Review 1:

As is the case with many people, I clench and grind my teeth at night when I am sleeping. I would wake up with my jaw in pain and my teeth loose. Dr. Daniel Marinic suggested a night guard or orthotic. He took alot of time to make the adjustments for my custom night guard so that it was extremely comfortable. I have no problem sleeping with the orthotic and now wake up with no pain. The staff is always so friendly and accomodating. Dr. Daniel Marinic always makes me feel comfortable and is extremely knowledgeable.

About Hygienist: Marta, Dr. Daniel Marinic's hygienest, is always so friendly. She puts me at ease and always does such a thorough cleaning. Marta gives you her full attention for the full hour and always has great tips to maintain my oral health and protect all of the work that Dr. Marinic has done to keep my mouth looking good.

Dr. Marinic is extremely competent, very skilled and excellent at reviewing any questions and treatment plans. He has state of the art everything, his prices reflect this, but he does offer extraordinary dental care. My only complaint would be in regards to his office staff. I felt very pressured to pay up front, which isn't regular policy, instead of being billed regularly for it. This was frustrating and caused problems with larger amounts of work needing to be done.

I have a very special set of implants that were put in about 15 years ago in NY. I have been searching for someone here in the Chicago area that would be able to take care of them for me. I have tried 4 different dentist here and nobody was able to to help. I had been going back to NY to the person who put them in whenever I needed any work done on them. A few weeks ago one of the screws fell out and after looking at this website as well as others I called Dr. Marinic and he fit me right into his busy schedule, and was able to take care of the problem. The parts are no longer being made for my implants, but he was able to salvage the part that is in my mouth, even though it took a great deal of his time. He is very sensitive, and very capable, and up on all the new technology. He is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that his patients get the best care possible. He has gone above and beyond for me and I feel that he really enjoys his work and only gets satisfaction when his patients are happy. He is a perfectionist and I can't say enough how much I appreciate his expertise, gentle manner and caring attitude. Thank You Dr. Marinic!!!!

Dr. Marinic has provided excellent dental care to my family for six years. We have two full sets of veneers that could not be more pleasing to either of us. His comprehensive and caring approach to his patients was instrumental in diagnosing a severe hypertensive condition; in fact, he drove my partner to the emergency room when the problem was detected upon a routine BP reading taken in his office. We both are patients of Dr. Marinic even though he is not one of the providers that either of our health care insurance will cover at the highest level. The care we receive from Dr. Marinic justifies the added out of pocket expense. Should a dental procedure requiring numbing (and few do not in my mind!), I can't imagine a smoother, less painful injection -- Dan has the painless technique down to perfection!

I am a public servant who is fifty-seven years old. I counsel and help many people. I consider myself a rock in just about any situation---except a visit to the dentist!!! I become five years old in the dentist's chair. I had a terrible incident thirty years ago, when an intern lost control of the drill while drilling my tooth! Imagine! My husband discovered Dr. Marinic about twelve years ago and things began to change for me. Where had he been all of my life? He treats me gently and puts up with my "unusual" needs. (listening to music via headphones during drilling, allowing me to control when he starts and stops the dental work, chatting before beginning dental work so I can relax, just to name a few). The entire staff is pleasant, comforting, professional and always helpful. You are treated like royalty. The office handles the insurance paperwork efficiently and costs are reasonable.

If I say that going to a dentist is a pleasure, this is as close as it gets. Dr. Marinic's office is immaculate and his dental equipment is state of the art. He has done extensive dental work on me including many porcelain crowns. My bottom teeth weren't straight, but are now, since he finished putting crowns on them. I am thrilled with my beautiful smile, especially when I see pictures of myself and get so many compliments. He didn't hesitate to recommend making a prosthetic device when he saw that I was grinding my teeth. I need to pre-medicate because of a heart condition prior to undergoing any dental work. I always get a reminder call to do so before my appointments. I cannot think of any dentist more professional and knowledgeable that Dr. Marinic.

I came to Dr. Marinic after neglecting proper care of my teeth for about a decade and credit him with getting me back into a routine of proper dental care and an understanding of systemic dental health. First and foremost I appreciate that he is focused on overall body health and the "big picture" and not just on short term fixes of problems. I also appreciate that he goes to great lengths to explain procedures, technology, risks, benefits and options. He has a high level of mutuality and respect with me as a patient. We went through a couple years of replacing old metal fillings I had from childhood with porcelain crowns that now look very natural and are much safer. He also did veneers on my front teeth with which I am completely satisfied, and guided me through getting my wisdom teeth removed. Overall, I am very happy the work Dr. Marinic has done. My teeth feel better and look better than ever before and add to my overall health and self-confidence.

Dr. Marinic has done extensive work on my teeth and I could not be happier with the results. I frequently get compliments on my smile since his work and even compliments from other dentists (personal friends, etc,). In the past, I had been fearful of dental visits. His gentle, caring manner and staff have alleviated those fears. Not only does his work look good and not cause pain, it has lasted a long time. He and his staff go out of their way to make your visit pleasant and relaxing. He keeps on top of the latest advances in the field and does state-of-the-art work. I could not be more satisfied.

There is not a friendlier, more professional, thorough and involved office than Dr. Marinic's. From the first meeting, Dr. Marinic spends as much time as the patient needs to get their fears expressed and their questions answered. Dr. Marinic lays out in detail the course of treatment necessary so the patient will not ever have to suffer from jagged, broken teeth and fillings that fall out. With the new technology available, there is no need for these things to happen. And Dr. Marinic takes his continuing education very seriously. This is preventive dentistry at its finest. And pretty much painless.

His office staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I have all 3 of my sons being treated by Dr. Marinic. And my daugther-in-law! This whole family is extremely pleased with the quality of care we are receiving from Dr. Marinic and his staff. The porcelain veneers I had done a year ago are knock-out! As a sixty-nine year old implant recipient, a patient of Dr. Daniel Marinic, I can report the highest regard for all that I feel is important in a dental experience. The doctor 's supreme degree of competence, genuine caring, and superb, state of the art techniques reassured me that my confidence and calm were indeed justified. He gently and carefully extracted two teeth, saving the bones, so that the implants could be placed immediately. Everything was accomplished in one session and was completely painless both during and after the procedure. His professional, friendly manner made me feel the dignity and comfort that only such a well-trained and capable practitioner can provide. Having been fearful of dentists for a long time, I am happy to say Dr. Marinic gave me no reason to fear. His kindness and caring are very apparent. Most of all, his expertise and professionalism are top notch! I have received 6 implants and they are perfectly serviceable. In addition, I have front porcelain crowns which look natural and even. In all of this work, Dr. Marinic caused me no pain. The healing was fast and complete. He is a very skillful professional and a credit to his field. I am 36 years old, and last year I encountered some health issues that required extensive work on my lower left jaw, including the removal of my two back left molars. But I certainly did not want to have to deal with partial dentures for the rest of my life!

Thankfully I was fortunate enough to be under the care of Dr. Marinic, who I have been a patient of for nearly 10 years. He offered the option of implants, fully explained the procedure and even showed me the computer model of where the implants would be placed. It was clear that this was my best long-term alternative, so he expertly (and painlessly!) placed three implants in that area. I couldn't be more excited to have full use of that side of my mouth again!

I can say without reservation that Dr. Marinic is the most dedicated, well-rounded and knowledgeable health-care professional that I have ever been associated with. He has an obvious passion for his craft, as well as an obvious interest in each and every one of his patients. And his personal, outgoing demeanor is an added bonus! His staff is extremely caring, helping to make your whole experience both successful and pleasant.

If you are thinking about implants, I can't imagine looking anywhere else.

Dr Marinic did two implants that didn't hurt or cause me concern. He fully explained the procedure and was always attentive to my needs.

I also had veneers by Dr. Marinic that look so natural no one can tell I have veneers. I have to say I now look like a movie star, well better... because they look so natural!

No rush... if you're a little nervous of dentist because of a bad experience... tell him. He understands, he'll take his time with you until you're comfortable.

Dr. Marinic and his staff did an amazing job not only with the beautiful veneers he fitted me with, he also diagnosed a problem I had with grinding and bruxation. He prescribed a corrective and preventative use of an orthotic device to protect the investment I've made in my oral health. I could not be happier with the results!

I am a dental phobic-or at least I was. Dr. Marinac is truly dedicated to first class, professional work and really means it when he says there is no reason to endure pain.

Although, he will do everyting possible to save a tooth, when that proves impossible, he does the next best thing: implants. It doesn't matter how much of his time it takes. It has to be perfect.

There is almost no one I know in any profession who is as knowledgable or enthuiastic aboput his work as Dr. Marinac. Finally his staff is professional, warm and engaged. I have and do highly recommend him.

Dr. Marinic performed two implants, and one was in a very precarious place on my lower right jaw. His procedure was so gentle and careful , and he made sure that I did not experience any pain. Everything was so professionally done, yet the atmosphere was so attentive and kind. I could tell immediately that there was not going to be any trouble- that calmness in your mouth even after an implant. And there never has been any trouble. He is a detailist, but with a personable and approachable manner. I have complete confidence in him and urge others to make him their dentist. My teeth look beautiful and my dental health is excellent. Thanks to Dr. Daniel Marinic. When I first went to the doctor, I really needed both veneers and crowns. That is when I first came to believe in him as my dentist. What dedication to his patients! As a professor, I am conscious of my teeth , since I am lecturing and speaking in public so frequently. I don't have a fortune, or a dental plan that pays for everything.. Dr. Marinic is sensitive to people's restrictions in dental costs and charges very fair rates, in fact in relation to others who do implants, his charges are low. His dedication is the explanation.

I have known Dr. Daniel Marinic professionally for over 20 years. During that time I have seen Dr. Marinic grow as a dental professional in all manner of ways. He has, like few dentists I know of, been driven to continue his dental education extensively. Dr. Marinic's history of continuing education is rivaled by few dentists I know of practicing in Chicago. He has also, at great personal expense, kept his office equipped with state of the art technology that is, once again, rivaled by few dental practices in the Chicago area. When these factors are coupled with his high technical expertise and caring personality, the result is one superb, highly skilled practitioner working in the finest facility you can imagine. Dr. Marinic is a truly remarkable person and dentist. In all my 63 years I have never before met a dentist so committed to patient care, and using all the newest approaches to provide the best overall service. Three specifics from my case history over the last three years: 1. I told Dr. Marinic that I wasn't particularly concerned with cosmetics, just good functional dentistry. So where my wife committed right away to a complete cosmetic program, I dilly-dallied. But as I saw the quality of his work, and how much better my mouth started to look, I changerd my mind, and I am thrilled. 2.Dr. Marinic did the "implants/teeth in an hour" for me, extracting two teeth, putting in two implants, and a temporary bridge all in one session. The system he uses (a levering out of a screw put into the tooth) was painless, with almost no blood, and I was eating sushi in two hours! 3. The biggest thing for me was the TAP appliance that replaced the CPAP machine I had been using for my sleep apnia, which took me into a separate bedroom from my wife. Now I don't snore. I sleep better. AND I GET TO SLEEP WITH MY WIFE! Dr. Marinic is the best!

I began seeing Dr. Marinic when I first moved to Chicago in 1999. Although my first visits were for necessary repairs to broken front teeth, we developed a plan for a full functional and cosmetic restoration to replace my older crowns. I am continually approached by total strangers while shopping or traveling who query me on my dental work. And, amazingly, many of them have turned out to be dentists themselves!

During emergency heart surgery in 2003, 3 of my crowns were accidentally broken off at the gum line. I was skeptical of implants because of my diabetes. Dr. Marinic took time to convince me of the latest techniques and advances made in implant surgery over the last decade and I agreed to the plan of therapy. I was amazed that I actually had temporaries installed the day of surgery and didn't have to wear a partial or 'flipper'. There was no pain in the process and cosmetically, no one I came in contact with could tell the difference. Neither could I. We have since installed the permanent implant crowns and they look great!

I highly recommend Dr. Marinic!
